The second most popular Internet service provider in the US is United Online with just over 6.5 million subscribers and approximately a seven per cent share of the market. United Online, headquartered in California, offers three dial up Internet service options including high speed and free programs through its NetZero, Juno and BlueLight brands. It offers filtered email accounts with storage, spam and virus protection, pop up ad blockers, unlimited access, 24 hour technical support and instant messaging capabilities. They also offer an ad supported, limited, free monthly access program. United Online was formed in 2001 after Juno and NetZero merged together.
